Remlinger Farm

We finally made it! We've tried 2 other times this year to get the kids to the farm. The first time mommy's Honda stopped working and the second time it started dumping rain on the way there. This time, the sun was out and we were so happy to get there early before the crowds!

The kids rode their first amusement park ride while we were there...

They seemed pretty excited to go.. until the lady in charge of starting the ride kept letting other kids on... 10 minutes later they were not so thrilled... and then the ride started and it was all over!!!!

They rode in about 3 circles before the lady had to stop the ride because they were crying... so mommy went in and took the kids off the ride and let her know that when working with toddlers on a toddler ride she should be a bit more timely. She didn't seem to like that comment. :) 

So instead, we headed to the petting zoo portion where we saw bunnies, goat and chickens. The kids LOVED it! The goats were out of the cages for easy petting and came right up to the kids. 

Next we headed to the trian, but Hailey was done. As soon as we got on, she wanted off. Hunter had been sitting patiently for it to start, but as soon as Daddy and Hailey got off he wanted off too... 

The life of toddlers.. one minute happy and the next the world is ending.

 

One thing we've learned with these two is to never expect things to go to plan and when they don't want to do something, it's best to just say, OK. Next time.
