Mommy's Headed to KY!

Mommy got news that great grandma wasn't doing very well, so it was time to pack up and head back to see her in Kentucky.

Before I left, the kids made very cute homemade GET WELL cards for her!

I was lucky that Michael was able to book not only the same flight as my dad, but in the seat next to him! 

Before we took off, Mommy tried to get some work done.

Our connecting flight was in Denver to meet up with my Aunt and my cousin Alexa...

 ..things didn't go as planned. We all grabbed a quick bite to eat after we met up and headed towards the gate. We sat and waited for a while right in front of the gate and finally got up to ask when we were going to board and they said we missed our flight! So, we stayed the night at a hotel inside the airport and tried to make the most of it.

Meanwhile at home, Daddy and Grandma were taking good care of the kiddos!! They kept me updated with sweet pictures of the babies the whole time.

Good Morning!

Meanwhile, we caught the first plane out the next morning and arrived (finally) at Grandma's house!

Of course right after we got there, there was a tornado warning! The thunder and lightning was pretty intense ! I was brave enough to go outside though and capture a few videos.



Because of our missed flight in Denver, I was only able to stay 2 days before having to head home, but I'm so glad that I was able to see my grandma and even get to spend time with my dad, aunt and cousin! Some of my best memories with my grandma are the simple things like watching the 10pm news and just sitting and catching up. It was worth all the travel and all the craziness!

Time to get home to these two cuties !
