Mommy went to get the kids after their Valentine's Day party Friday afternoon and the teacher told me Hailey had a white BM... Not good! So, I immediately called the doctor to make an appointment. Luckily they had an opening so once Daddy got home, we headed towards the doctors. And what happens??
Hailey throws up ALL over herself and her car seat! She sat in the front while we tried to get it just clean enough to have her ride in it.
Thankfully the doctor said it was just a flu bug and nothing to worry about.

So we laid low on Friday and the kids both got a little surprise... their 'back-up' stuffed animals! Mommy had found the exact ones they love when I had ran to Babies R Us and couldn't pass them up. You never know when you might need one (like we did last week when Hunter threw up on his!)
The excitement on his face is worth every penny!
So after a Pedialite dinner, we got into PJ's and watched a movie before bedtime.
Hailey kept wanting to take photos and would say CHEEEESSEEEE! Whatever gets her mind off an upset tummy.
We woke up on Saturday morning to a little girl who seemed to be doing MUCH better.
We got in some good snuggles...
Before taking a good morning nap. We woke up the kids to get to our Little Gym class and I have no idea what happened to the time, but next thing we knew, it was already past the class start time when we left the house. So instead, we headed to the zoo to see the Valentines Day treats and was lucky to get up close and personal with the Jaguar!
On Saturday night, Grandma and Grandpa came by so we could have a Valentine's Date Night! The kids had a blast hanging out and we loved getting photo updates while we were out.
What'd we end up doing while the kids were in great hands? We sat down for a nice dinner at Ruth Chris and enjoyed one another's company. It was so nice to have a meal that was not rushed and spend it with my amazing husband!
Grandma stayed the night and surprised the kids with Valentines gifts on Sunday morning! They both got adorable little outfits.
Mommy and Daddy had also gotten them new PJ's and a stuffed Cinderella for Hailey and stuffed Tigger for Hunter at the Disney Store from the night before. I have to say, they have SO MUCH more stuff for girls than they do for boys. It's quite frustrating when you have a huge selection of princess stuff and a small corner for the boys with limited options.
Auntie Linda and Auntie Donna also both sent books and cards for the kids that they really enjoyed opening! And of course they got adorable cards from Grandma and Grandpa!
We tried heading out to do something, but guess what happened? Hailey threw up again in the car seat, so back home we went. We spent the rest of the day cleaning and doing laundry. That doesn't mean we didn't have some fun!
I'm not sure why car seats in the house are SO much more fun than in the car. We put them into the car seats in the car and they scream.. but in the house, we have to both get in the same one.
And then to end the night, mommy got a BIG surprise from her babies- a cute flower arrangement that looks like little boy/girl puppies and chocolate! What a cute and thoughtful surprise :)
I can't believe how fast the weekends go... back to work on Monday. Let's hope Hailey can make it through the day without throwing up!
