Ear Tube Surgery

The day finally came... we took Hailey and Hunter to Children's Hospital in Seattle to get their ear tubes put in. Both kids did great and the surgery was quick.. of course that doesn't mean much to a mom and dad in a waiting room where a minute feels like an eternity. I was surprised that Hunter came out of surgery (he was the first to go in) and he was very happy and a little goofy as the anesthesia wore off. Hailey was the one who came into the room screaming and crying. We had to stay a bit longer to get her calmed down so her blood pressure wasn't so high. She finally settled down and we were happy to get outta there! They were back to their normal selves pretty quick which was a relief! So thankful to have Grandma's help during the entire thing! It was such a relief to have extra hands and support! Thank you Grandma!!!
