33 Weeks Pregnant

The babies are still moving a TON this week and I'm soaking in all of it! I know that this is probably going to be the only time we get pregnant so I'm trying to live in the moment. Per the pregnancy website, it is telling me that my amniotic fluid is at it's max level which is why I can see the pokes and feel the kicks a lot more now.
The biggest change since last week is my inability to stay asleep all night. Last week I woke up a lot because of the heat, babies moving and having to use the restroom a million times. But this week,  I'll wake up in the middle of the night and make myself get up to use the restroom... even though I don't really have to, but then I just lay in bed completely awake! Apparently I'm not the only expectant mom who has dealt with this because there is something called 'pregnancy insomnia' that I guess 3 out of 4 pregnant women get. It's getting me used to late night feedings I suppose! Although the 2 hrs of sleep I had last night might not be enough to get me through work today. Last night's insomnia can be blamed on the horrible heartburn I had. Can't wait for that to go away!
I've also been getting a lot of braxton hicks.. especially last Friday. I had woken up for work and kept getting several right in a row, but my doctor said, unless I have 4 that are each over 30 seconds within an hour, that it isn't a concern. Michael of course kept asking how I was doing and made sure I wasn't having any other pre-term labor symtoms (which I wasn't) and they ended up stopping in the late morning. Still cookin' away! No appointments this week, but once a week starting next Tuesday!

What's Happening In My Body?: The babies skeletons are hardening and they now close their eyes when they are asleep and have them open when they are awake.

The Babies Are Each the Size of: A Pineapple - between 17 and 19 inches long and getting closer to the 5lb mark! No wonder it hurts to do anything- especially rolling over at night and getting in and out of bed.
