Woke up on Tuesday morning around 2 A.M. not feeling very well and all the sudden had to get up to run to the restroom to 'toss my cookies' as Michael says. I wasn't sure if it was something I ate or what, so he drove me to work to get my laptop to work from home. Well, that was an interesting car ride. We got to work and it took everything for me not to get sick in the parking lot. It didn't last long because on the way home I looked at him and said - PULL OVER NOW! Yep... not one of my best moments. Not to mention it's not easy to bend over a pregnant belly to get it all outside the car. That theme continued all through Tuesday- I couldn't even keep water down. Michael was so sweet to stay home with me to make sure the babies and I were OK.. He called to doctor as well just to see what we should do. Thankfully the doctor's office is great at keeping people calm and just told him to make sure I stay hydrated and if I couldn't hold liquids down later that afternoon to get me into urgent care. THANKFULLY after resting and being taken very good care of by both Michael and his mom, I was able to keep down water. I was pretty worried about the babies but they let me know they were O.K. by kicking me throughout the entire day (probably telling me they were hungry- and I sure was trying to keep anything down for them)!
I ended up staying home on Wednesday as well since I was still feeling pretty weak from not keeping down solids except for a few bites of roman noodles before bed the night before. I ended up sleeping almost the entire day away and am finally starting to feel better just in time for us to move this Saturday! Fingers crossed my lovely husband doesn't get what I had because it was pretty miserable.
Needless to say I woke up this morning SUPER hungry around 2:30 A.M. and ended up wandering downstairs to get a bowl of cereal. It didn't taste as good as I had hoped, but at least it stayed down and I was able to work from home today and catch up on work. Thankfully tomorrow is Friday.
