Maui Day 5 - Whale Watching and Luau

We were treated to a fun day on Wednesday! Aunt Donna took us all on a whale watching tour and Grandma and Grandpa got us tickets for a luau!

The whale watching started off great, but unfortunately these kids have my stomach. The three of us all got sea sick and the kids both fell asleep after taking medicine. Luckily, the whales were generous and swam right next to the boat so we could see them from outside the window. Sounds like the view out of the front of the boat was amazing from what we could hear on the speaker.

Before we got on the boat we ran around the pier and the really awesome Banyan Tree Park!

Hailey got up to the front briefly to look for whales, but we didn't get to see them from the deck.

After the tour, we were all pretty tired and my medicine had kicked in also.. so we all took a long afternoon nap in the room before getting ready for the luau.

Both of the kids got a special ride there!!

The kids all patiently waited in line for their seats!

The best part about the luau? Free yummy drinks all around. The kids loved the POG juice..

While the adults enjoyed Mai Tai's !!

Cheers Daddy!

Before the show started, they let the kids (and anyone who wanted to learn how to hula) up on the stage. I was surprised that Hailey actually got up there and right in the middle!

The show was really great! We especially enjoyed the fire spinning towards the end of the show.

And another day bites the dust...
