Maui Day 1- Travel Day and Pool Time

First, I have to say I am SO PROUD of the kids and how well they did on the plane ride to Maui. It was long (even for us adults) - 6+ hrs! The only horrible part about the flight was how sick Hailey got. She must've either eaten something bad or caught a flu bug because she was throwing up during the flight and got a horrible fever. Then she caught a 2nd wind and was completely fine before we landed. How weird!!

When we got to the airport, we just let the kids run around and burn off some energy.

Once we were on the plane, they kept busy with their iPads and coloring books.

Towards the end of the flight, Hunter wanted to sit with Hailey and I (or as he would say, "I want to see you, Mommy.") So, he kicked Grandpa out of his seat and hung out with us girls through a bumpy landing.

Once we landed, Michael headed off to get the car while the kids and I hung out with Grandma, Aunt Alicia and their cousins.

And as soon as we got in the car, it was lights out!

As soon as we got to Aunt Donna's timeshare, they were up and ready to get to the pool which we had an AMAZING view of from our room. Mommy loved sitting on the patio and watching the ocean every single day! We are so grateful- Thank you Aunt Donna!!

Both kids basically claimed the master bedroom and slept with me most nights while Michael was in the living room. The kids would rotate between us depending on their moods!

After exploring the room, it was time to get to the pool - the kids immediately saw the view and said, "I want to go swimming!!" So down we went..

Mommy is said these photos came out too dark, but still had to share!

Michael told the kids that every time we go to the elevator, they got to push the button but had to sit on the chairs to wait (that way they weren't running on when others were trying to get off). It became a cute little game!

Grandpa joined us down at the pool just in time to see the sunset!
