2yr Check-Up

While Michael was resting his knee, Mommy and Grandma headed to the kid's 2 yr check up! I had originally planned to brave the dr's office alone, but SO glad she came along to help. Hunter decided he didn't want to be there and was crying the entire time. We ended up not getting shots because he is seeming like he's still not feeling well and I didn't want 2 screaming kids & the possibility of the flu after the flu shot while Michael is still recovering. So, shots another time, but we did get all of their measurements taken care of!

The only thing that got the kids to calm down was giving them both pens (ugh) and the papers that I was supposed to fill out on their motor and speech development. Oh well, gonna need another copy of those please!

The twins at 2 years 1 month old

Hailey:

Weight: 31lbs 2oz (82nd percentile for girls) 

Height: 30.5inches (47th percentile for girls)

Head circumference: 47.5cm (91st percentile for girls)

Hunter:

Weight: 28lbs 4oz (51st percentile for boys) 

Height: 31inches (42nd percentile for boys)

Head circumference: 47.5cm (69th percentile for boys)

Both Hailey and Hunter have clear speech, say over roughly 200 words, can count to 10 (with a little help- Hunter tends to like even numbers), and are linking sentences together with 2-4 words. The best is when they come home after learning a new word.. the latest? YEEHAW! ... Where did they get that one from?? 

They are both jumping with feet off the ground, climbing and associating things and how they relate to the things around them. Very proud of these two!
