We decided it was best we drive around and let Grandma and Auntie Donna sleep. These two were running around and screaming.. Mommy needed some coffee! Today was not supposed to start off this soon.
Once we were back from our drive, we got ready to head out to Legoland!
We started off the day with everyone at the Aquarium. They sure thought of everything here... there were a bunch of fun places where the kids could stop to play & see fish at their eye level!
Since our kiddos are still pretty young, the rest of the gang headed off towards rides while we explored the few that the kids could go on. One of the rides was a cute boat ride that takes you around all these crazy Lego 'storybook' creatures. I remember riding this with Lexie, Kenize and Davis a few yrs ago... it seemed like just yesterday. It was fun to make these memories with our kids this time.
I had to laugh so hard at this picture... They have the same exact look on their face.
After the ride, Michael tested his luck on a basketball game and guess what? He was a big winner.. and i mean BIG. Thanks to Grandma, we had a dedicated ride for our new friend!
Then we found a carrousel that the kids were also able to go on.. we went a few times while they both said WEEEEE !! So cute!
Next we headed to a park area that even had a little train ride.
There was even a little stage show the kids were interested in on the way out for naps.
As soon as we got to the car, Hunter was out but Hailey was wide awake so she enjoyed some In N Out with the rest of us.
Next stop... Water park!
It was a fun day with the kids!
