Hailey + Hunter Are 6 Months Old!

These two are SO much fun to play with and to watch transition into their own people! They both are growing so quickly and pretty much out of their 6 month clothes and onto 9 month size. They have started to sit up much better than before (with assistance of course) and learning all the cool things their hands and feet do.

Both Hailey and Hunter:
Sleep: Probably a sore topic at the present moment... neither Hailey or Hunter have been sleeping well at all. We've tried the cry it out method which seemed to work at first only to have them wake up again an hour later and cry more. This process is quite difficult with twins as they like to wake up one another in the process. Not to mention it's hard to listen to your babies cry, but our new rule is that at 6pm we are in the room for quiet time and if they fall asleep in our arms or in the rocker that is ok, but regardless if they are awake or not, they go down in their cribs at 6:30pm (Seems early, but we get up at 4:45am to get ready for work). They each have been waking up 3-4x per night leaving little room for a good night's sleep. Multiple times they will come into our room, lay on our bed and fall right to sleep sending Michael to the floor for the remainder of the night. It's hectic right now... working on a game plan for sure!

Hailey:
Personality: Hailey has become such a little girl in everything she does. Even her cry is so light and more fussy than a true cry like Hunter's. She is very delicate still with her toys and with holding things in her hands. She loves to look deep into your eyes and will make adorable coo's as if she is telling you how much she loves you. She will even put her little delicate hand on your face and it just melts your heart!
Food: Hailey doesn't like much, but she sure has a sweet tooth! She likes sweet potatoes, bananas and banana with pineapple! She does not like carrots or peas and will give you the most disgusted face you've ever seen if you try to feed them to her.
Teeth?: No teeth yet, but she has been really going to town on her Sophie giraffe (teething toy) and has been drooling a bunch!
Favorite Toys: She loves her toy keys that hook onto her car seat. She will hold onto those and they calm her down when she gets fussy.

Hunter:
Personality: Hunter is such a boy! I know I've said it, but he just loves to thump around and doesn't care if his sister's face is in the way! When he gets a hold of a toy, watch out! He will whip that thing around like crazy! He would rather be up looking around or walking around than laying down on his back.. he wants to know where the action is! As soon as this boy is walking, we'll be chasing after him I'm sure. He has his sweet moments too especially during quite time before bed (that is, before we are trying to get him to wind down). He will reach out for your face with both hands to pull you in and slobber on your face. I'm convinced he's trying to give kisses!
Food: Hunter likes almost everything except the bananas with pineapple (which as I stated Hailey LOVES). I'm pretty sure they are a bit too tart for him (mommy too!) and he gives the funniest face when it gets in his mouth... like, what are you feeding me?! He still eats it, but has a confused face the entire time. He enjoys sweet potatoes, bananas, peas and pretty much everything else we've tried feeding him so far.
Teeth?: Hunter now has 2 bottom teeth! They are just starting to poke through, but don't let you finger get caught in there... that boy has a bite!
Favorite Toys: His feet... he just loves them and thinks they are the coolest things ever. In fact, he gets upset if his feet are in feetie pj's because he can't hook on and do 'happy baby' (yoga pose for your feet straight up in the air on your back). He also enjoys looking at his hands... it's as if he's trying to figure out how they work.

Getting photos of these two is getting increasingly harder since they like to move all around now... I'm sure it'll only get more difficult from here!
