6-Month Check-Up

We had our 6-month check-up with Dr Vijay and the babies are growing like crazy! Both babies are on a great growth curve which we had no doubt of! They were both supposed to get their vaccinations, but that was brought to a quick halt once the doctor found that both Hailey and Hunter have ear infections- Hailey in the right ear and Hunter in the left. Hailey's had ruptured by the time we saw Dr. Vijay which didn't surprise me since I noticed some stuff coming out of it the day before and was concerned. Hunter's ear infection didn't have any signs, so I thought he was just teething. It makes so much more sense in why they haven't been sleeping and have been so crabby! So, we are back to the doctor's next week for shots.. and hoping their ear infections clear up by the time we leave for Maui!
Hoping to get back to a "normal" rhythm of sleep soon. Hunter has been up 5-6 times a night and that's WITH him sleeping in our bed. The moment you set him in the crib he screams! Hailey has been waking up 3-4 times a night, but has been easier to put back to sleep, but getting her to bed in the first place has been a nightmare. She normally is so easy to put to bed, but lately she has been screaming for a good hour before giving it up. Thank God for Grandma staying the night to help out. We'd be walking zombies if we didn't have her.

Hailey:

Weight: 18lbs 0oz 80th percentile

Height:  25.75 inches 39th percentile

Head: 43.2cm- 75th percentile

Total: 75th percentile
