Once we arrived in Vegas, Michael had a stretch SUV Limo waiting for us! We enjoyed sipping on some champagne to start the day!
We stayed at the Paris hotel to mix up our view of the strip and we were very happy with our decision! It was right in the middle of the strip, it had nice rooms and the casino was large and never over crowded!
Our first stop was a quick lunch at Hexx Kitchen which had awesome food and was completely open for us to enjoy the amazing weather!
After lunch, we did a bit more gambling and headed out to walk the strip.
On our second day we headed to the pool to relax and enjoy our kid free time! Of course as soon as we got to the pool there were a bunch of families there with their kiddos which made us miss ours even more!
After a relaxing time at the pool, we decided to walk to the end of the strip to the Venetian Gondola ride which was so romantic and our guide had the most beautiful voice!
Since we were already in the area, we decided we couldn't pass up riding the highest Ferris Wheel in the world! Of course I was skeptical since I'm terrified of heights, but Michael talked me into it and I'm so glad that he did! The view was amazing and we rode in the 'high roller' which had an open bar for the 30 minutes it takes to get around the full circle.
On our last morning, we enjoyed a low key breakfast at an outdoor cafe and then decided to go on the Eiffel Tower Experience. Why not? It was shorter than the Ferris Wheel from the day before...
Michael loved it! He was even talking about how much fun it'd be to bungie jump off the top!
Meanwhile I was not thrilled. It was WAY more frightning than the day prior and as soon as I got up, I got sick and wanted to get down! My hands were sweating and shaking, but I'm still glad we did it.
After a fun morning, it was time to head home. It was a nice short mommy and daddy vacation and much needed! I was bummed though because the entire trip I hadn't won any money! The last time we had gone to Vegas I kept winning and almost paid for our entire trip... this time that wasn't the case.
As we were waiting on our first flight I decided to throw $20 into a machine and guess what?! I hit the jackpot and won $1,324.89 in the bouns round plus a few hundred more the following spin... on an airport penny slot! Whoo hoo! The only bad part, the airport doesn't have cash machines so you have to sit and wait for someone with enough money to come and pay you out! We almost missed our boarding because I had to fill out a tax form! Oh well... totally worth it!
