What a Busy Weekend!

We started off our Saturday morning with a quick trip to Costco... and when I say quick, I'm talking in and out in under a half hour! That's pretty good considering we needed almost everything! We had one full cart which was mostly due to 2 little babies who decided they were riding up front!

Hunter pretty much insisted on going fast. He'd get the biggest grin as soon as you started moving!

After we unloaded our Costco loot, we decided it was a good morning to finally get photos up the stairway! Michael was such a good sport and helped in the 2 hr task without a grunt and even commented on how nice it looks (even if the frames still have the store inserts of random people in them.. I'll get around to it!).

We of course had a little audience...

Don't let that sweet picture fool you... they are good at looking innocent. Immediately after they realized that I took a photo, they both threw huge fits and so it was off for nap time. That is one big thing we have both learned... you never can sit down and just get something done without having to break in the middle, but we wouldn't have it any other way!

Somewhere after nap time, a few squeezies and a bottle or two, we decided to get the kids in the tub. It started off Hailey in her baby tub and all I could hear was Hunter in the other room screaming and Michael saying that I needed to hurry (but wait, I JUST got Hailey in the tub...). So, I dumped her (carefully) into the tub, filled it up a little more and put Hunter right in with her. It turned into a great bath time and the kids LOVED it! Hunter was particularly fond of the basketball hoop..

Sunday morning we woke up and had a little playtime on the bed before getting ready for Grandpa's Birthday Party.

We had such a fun time playing with Lexie and Kenzie (Natalie was taking a nap while we were over at Auntie Alicia's) and they even shared their Legos!

Hey, isn't that Daddy's hat??

And then to finish off the weekend, mommy got to finish her bookshelf (that daddy put together for her of course), Now we can see all of our books and decide on bedtime stories. Of course I'm well aware this will probably never be this tidy again with 2 future crawlers, but there is something to be said about being able to see something completed. With how crazy everything is (including work), it is nice to see that I can still complete a project! Now if I could just get the laundry done....
