We were up past our bedtime and not happy about it at all! After 2 bathing suit changes, we determined that they are both in 12 month bathing suits already!
We jumped into the pool and surprisingly it was colder than I thought it'd be and 4 ft deep! So, mommy was on her tip toes the entire time, but the babies had a BLAST once they were in the pool! Hailey loved to splash with her hands and was very good at reaching out for her ducky. Hunter was a face in the water kind of guy and was very relaxed in the water completely putting his ears in the pool on his back!
We sang a few songs .. (which daddy did not know was a part of the program... I may have left that part out when I initially brought the idea to him)

And then practicing the motion of getting out of the pool! They will get better at this once they start crawling I'm sure.
What a great time.. we now have 2 babies completely passed out in the cribs (who by the way, went down without a peep)!
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for spending your afternoon with us! It makes it much easier when you have a few more hands getting out of the pool and to get swim diapers off!!
