We decided it is time to get the babies sleeping in their cribs so they aren't making a habit out of sleeping in our room. It's really hard to not have them right next to us at night, but I know that it is critical to get them sleeping in their cribs around 4 months or else it will just get harder and harder. Hailey has done fantastic in her room. Both nights I've been able to lay her down and she needs just a little shhh and she is out! The first night she made it to midnight in her room and last night to 1:30AM! Hunter on the other hand is not as open to sleeping on his own. I can get him completely asleep and the second he is set in his crib he wakes up. We've both tried shhhing him and patting his bum while he is in the crib, but the minute you move away he will wake up. We were able to get him down for about a half an hour the first night, but he was right back up screaming for us. So, we've got Hunter sleeping in our bed to get used to a flat surface. Hopefully within the next few weeks we will have 2 sleeping babies in their own rooms and we can claim our bed back... or should I say fight with the dogs for who gets to stretch out.
