Mommy & Daddy the Multitaskers

Well it didn't take long for us to figure out that multitasking is not an option with 2 babies. In fact, as I'm typing this, Hailey is in my other arm cooing and looking up at me with big bright eyes. But don't you dare set her down or she will let you know that she is a princess and needs to be held. Like mother, like daughter as Michael says.

One of the best baby items we have is the sling. I'm able to wear one baby while the other is sleeping or eating with daddy. They love being close to us and it helps them to fall asleep if they are just a little fussy.

Daddy even feeds the babies while he is taking a break from work. He's really multitasking now!

Two hungry babies at the same time? 

While there are solutions to taking care of two babies at once, the only solution to cure exhaustion is sleep. So, grandma came over to have a sleep-over and took Hailey half of the night (she is the one who usually wakes up fussy at all hours) and we got some rest. The dogs even slept with her in her room so we were able to stretch out and not worry about rolling over a dog or baby. Hunter was a good little guy and slept in his cradle most of the night. Now we're re-energized (as much as we can be)! Thank you Debbie!!
