Halloween!

The kids were super excited for Halloween this year and it was the first year Hunter has gone trick-or-treating! Last year the little guy was sick so it was a whole new concept to him! First to start off the day, their preschool had a party with snacks and costumes!

Mommy didn't see the sign up sheet until it was too late to do anything fun, so cupcakes from Safeway worked just fine!

Once the kids got home we all changed into our costumes.. minions!

Then we headed down to the Lake Stevens Halloween Carnival where the kids got to play games and win candy!!

It was fun to go to all the booths because they were all vendors from here in town- our preschool, our eye dr., our dentist.. love the small town feel in Lake Stevens!

Then it was finally dark enough to trick-or-treat! Kids come by the car full to our neighborhood so Daddy would run back home to fill the bowl outside the door every couple houses while we made our way around the neighborhood!

Hunter decided that he was going to invite himself inside several houses! He literally just walked right into people's living rooms! Oh my gosh.. 

We had a nice long talk afterwards and he decided that he'd stick to giving several strangers a hug. He's such a love bug!

We left our row of houses for the end and stopped by our friends house for a bit so the kids could run off some of that candy!
