Michael took Hailey out to her first daddy/daughter dance which Hailey was super excited about. She loved doing her hair, nails and getting dressed in a pretty dress. Michael and Hailey went out for dinner beforehand which she did really well at. Once at the dance she was a bit shy and took a few minutes to warm up. Apparently she was the youngest there (which didn't really matter to us) and she was the first out on the dance floor. But as soon as she got out there, three older girls ran past her and knocked her down... she ended up with an "owie knee!" So, shortly after they got there they had to leave to go get ice and apparently Hailey kept saying she didn't want to go back to the dance so they came home. Ugh..
Meanwhile, Mommy and Hunter headed out to Build-a-Bear and the mall for dinner. Hunter picked out Chase (a dog from the Paw Patrol cartoon). He liked pushing the pedal to put the stuffing inside and picking out the heart as well. He ended up getting two hearts- one pick and one red and said, "The pink heart is for Hailey". Such a sweetie. After Build-a-Bear we went to the play area in the mall then to Red Robin for dinner. Such a fun one on one time with my little man!
