Rough Week

It's been a rough week already.. both kids have caught the flu. Not sure why the flu is going around in June, but we got hit hard!
Hunter got sick on Saturday out of the blue (just after he got better from being sick 2 weeks ago)! On Saturday Hunter fell asleep on my shoulder after having a nap which I thought was weird. Next thing I knew he had a horrible fever and woke up and threw up all over me. He shook it off in about 2 days, just in time for Hailey to catch the bug.
She has definitely had it bad - she's throw up at least a dozen times and can't keep anything down. Thankfully Grandpa came over for some relief for Mommy on Wednesday which was super helpful.. especially when Hailey blew out all over!! Thankful to be able to get some work done. Michael was able to help out earlier in the week, but with stacked meetings on Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday.. this is going to get interesting!

Thankfully this flu is knocking the kids out.. all they want to do is sleep between throwing up, but they get SO sad if Mommy or Daddy get up to get work done.

Father's Day Celebrations

On Father's Day weekend we were able to go see Grandpa and Uncle Chris to wish them an awesome day!

The kids also celebrated their daddy by giving their gifts to Michael! They had a 'Dad's are Awesome' week at school and made awesome projects throughout the week!

The little notes were adorable because it just showed how much the little things really mean to the kids!

From Hailey, "What I love about Dad is when I get to go in his car."

From Hunter, "What I love about Dad is when he gives me a bath"

Happy Fathers Day!

Happy Fathers Day to Papa, Grandpa and Daddy!!

Hailey and Hunter are so very lucky to have very strong men in their life to lead them in the right direction!

Altitude Trampoline Park

We were pretty excited to see that the trampoline park near us is one of the only ones that allow 2yr olds jump, so we decided to check it out. The kids had a BLAST (so did the big kids)! They didn't want to leave and when we went to put their shoes on after our hour of jumping, Hunter b-lined it back to the play area!
Since they loved it so much we booked their birthday party here! Check it off the list!

Zoo Day

Can't go wrong with sunshine, friends and the zoo! The kids loved spending time with their friend Emma and seeing all the animals !

Touch-a-Truck

The kids loved the Standwood touch-a-truck so much, so we headed to the one they had in Monroe over the weekend. It was cool to see the differences- this one was much more geared towards kids activities rather than the trucks themselves.
Both kids got face paint and did the pony rides. Hunter wanted the 'BIG HORSE' while Hailey was much more timid and asked for the pony. She wasn't thrilled while Hunter was grinning ear to ear!
