Sick Kiddos

It never fails, as soon as the fall season starts we end up with nasty colds, flus, ear infections etc... this time, daycare called to tell me there was an outbreak of Hand / Foot  / Mouth Disease! It ended up being a good thing that Hunter was sick with another bug because we had kept the kids home the day that everyone seemed to get infected with it..

Hunter had a slight pneumonia and Hailey did have a few sores in her mouth, but thankfully it was a different virus and nothing to be concerned about. So, the kids stayed home the rest of the week to stay away from the other crud at daycare.. it made a long week for mommy and daddy who still had to work, but it was nice to have the extra time with them. I asked daycare when we took them back on Monday how it all went and sounds like there was only 1 kid there on Friday!! I guess we weren't the only ones keeping our kiddos away from it.

What'd we do? A bunch of lounging around and sleeping for these two... which helped for a speedy recovery! 

.. and we went through a bunch of medicine! Good thing we have enough for 5 years in our cabinets!
