Aquarium

It was another rainy Sunday so we headed to do something indoors with the kids and ended up at the Aquarium. We enjoy it, but wish it were bigger! Seems like it takes longer to get there than it does to get all the way through the exhibits.

Every fish was Dory..

Let me tell you a secret..

Afterwards, we had a nice family lunch and decided to skip naps! Surprisingly, the kids were great and made it until bedtime. However, Hunter was definitely ready to go to sleep...

Auntie Donna is Here!

We are so excited that Auntie Donna is here to spend Thanksgiving with us!

On Saturday night we went out with her and Grandma for a welcome dinner!

On Sunday, she treated to an even yummier meal (steak and crab) while we got to visit with the rest of the gang! It was so much fun watching all the kids run in circles and show off their dance moves :)

The entire way there Hailey kept saying, "I want to see Nat Nat".. well the two of them ran around the entire night together! Hailey was pretty sad when it was time to leave though..

Look at all that leftover crab!

Nightmares, Screaming and Sleeping on the Floor

Hailey has been having a very rough time sleeping the last week or so. Of course some of that had to do with her flu bug, but it seems like she is having bad dreams which are preventing her from want to sleep in her bed. She's been sleeping by her door and screaming at the top of her lungs before she will finally settle down and sleep. Mommy has even been crawling into her crib (insert silly short jokes here) just so she'll sleep and then sneak out once she is out. Hunter seems to sleep through the screaming which is good, but he's also had a few nightmares the past week where I've gone in to snuggle him too. Makes for a long night..

Apparently this is the age they can start to become fearful of things so we really have to be careful!

The image is hard to see but those are Hailey's feet .. her head is behind the wall by her door..

Disney on Ice

Thankfully everyone was feeling OK just in time for Disney on Ice! Thank you grandma for treating us to such a special evening!

The Flu Bug Strikes!

I literally am drained from all the craziness these last few weeks. The kids have been sick for 2 weeks straight and just as they were starting to get better, everyone got the flu! Needless to say, 2 - 2 yr olds throwing up is NOT a pretty sight. Thankfully everyone is holding strong now and we are looking forward to a better week (and mommy/daddy have a bunch of work to catch up on!).

Froggy!

Michael has an eye for frogs and caught one the other day to show the kids. Ever since, both Hunter and Hailey have been playing 'pretend' by acting as if they are holding a frog too! They'll say- "Uh Oh! He's on your head!" and "Oh! He jumped away.." It's been a good tactic to use when we need them to quiet down too... show me your froggy!

Twinkly Lights

Always my favorite session with Sarah! These came out adorable and just in time to get us into the holiday spirit! :)

Always adorable... and amazing how she captures great pictures when this was the reality of what was actually happening:
