Both Hailey and Hunter loved walking around in the water, running away from the waves and searching for BUGS in the sand. Every time Hailey found one, she'd scream BUG, BUG, BUG!
After a little while, Hunter decided he no longer liked the sand so Him and I hung out while Hailey and Daddy ran around some more.
Thankfully the running around tired them out so we headed for the car to get in a quick nap. Even though Hunter was tired, he wouldn't close his little eyes. Meanwhile, Hailey was snoring next to him!
Once we got back to the resort, it was time to swim! The pool was great and the kids loved splashing around. I was a bit bummed we didn't realize there was a kiddy pool (about 1ft deep) until it was time to get these kids some food. Because Hunter didn't have his nap, he was a bit cranky!
He even had a meltdown right before we went swimming.
We headed back upstairs to get showered/dressed and headed back out to check out the horseback riding.
Hailey's first pony ride was a success! She LOVED the horses and held on like a big girl!
Hunter was not as thrilled as his sister to ride the horse, but after he got the hang of it, he thought it was pretty cool!!
After pony rides it was time to meet up with Papa and Alex at the go-cart track! Of course as soon as we met up with everyone else, Hunter closed his little eyes and finally took his nap!
Michael was nice enough to pass on the go-carts and hang with the kids while mommy showed her dad and bro how to race.
All that winning sure makes you hungry. We decided to walk around the little town and grab some lunch. BOTH kids were out now so we thought we could sneak in a quick bite to eat.
WRONG!
As soon as we ordered drinks, both kids woke up and were screaming. They didn't want to sit in the high chairs or even on our laps so we took turns pushing the kids around in the stroller. Michael walked the town about 3-4x while I ate my lunch and then we switched. Never a dull moment.
We headed back to the room to cool down and enjoy the view from our balcony.
And then decided we like to stand on top of tables.
On top of her perch, Hailey decided she also likes to scream at the top of her lungs. She reaches a pitch that only dogs can hear...
Hunter had the right idea!
Pretty soon, we headed over to Papa and Alex's room to hang out and eat dinner. The kids were relatively good, but didn't make it long before they got tired.
Off to bed we go! What a full 2nd day of vacation!!
