We had our ENT appointment for Hunter and Hailey on Saturday morning where the doctor confirmed that they are perfect candidates for ear tubes. We talked about what to expect on the day of surgery, timelines and how it's important we get this done now so they don't have issues with speech development. We of course are very nervous and not looking forward to this, but know the kids will be in good hands. It'll be nice to not have to be in the doctor's office as often and also to not have to give them medication that doesn't work anyway! We hate seeing them in pain so this is a good thing in the long run.
They offered us this Wednesday for surgery, but that is TOO close to Christmas and mommy can't get time off, so it'll be the end of January. Let's hope for no ear infections before then.
Waiting before our appointment we had fun screaming in the lobby and hearing our loud voices echo! Thanks to Grandma for coming with to ask questions we wouldn't think about asking. Always nice to have an extra pair of hands.
