Yep, the flu has hit our house yet AGAIN! I cannot believe how many times we have all been sick this year. It started with Hailey last night. Mommy had a long training at work so I didn't get home until after the babies were sleeping. Daddy was dealing with a flat tire so THANK GOD for Grandma! She was able to get both Hailey and Hunter down while I raced home. She had said that before bed Hailey bubbled up quite a bit of liquid. Of course she had been checking on her and between all the checking, I went in to say goodnight and Hailey was covered in puke! So, we woke her up to get her clean, changed her crib, gave her some love and put her back in her crib. Then she pukes AGAIN! Where did all this liquid come from? So we put her in our bed for a bit. Of course she couldn't really stay comfy and was looking for her normal smells and her own space. So, I put her in the pack and play because I was worried she'd throw up while we were sleeping. Well, again with the throw up. By this time grandma had changed the sheets on the crib and washed them and finally we got her down in bed. Of course Michael and I were up every hr worried that she could've choked on it.
Then we wake up in the morning and Hunter had puked all over his crib too! It had to have been early in the morning because I had checked on him when I fed Hailey at 3 am (our alarm to wake up goes off at 4:30am). Needless to say, Hunter got a shower with mommy in the morning.

What a fiasco! Now today, I got a call while I'm at work from daycare saying they were not themselves and didn't feel well. Michael was able to leave work around 10am to get them and ended up heading straight to the walk-in. They just had vaccines the other day so we were worried that it might be a reaction. So, I raced from Bothell to Lake Stevens to be with my babies who Michael was handling all on his own... he said I got there right in time! Hailey was screaming in the doctor's office and it was Hunter's turn for his check- up. Both seem to only have a virus and it wasn't a reaction to the vaccine... phew! So home we headed while mommy and daddy worked in between cleaning up puke and while Michael also was sick. I really hope this is the last time our family is sick this year. I hate seeing my family not feel well!
