No Biting!

We are having some issues with biting! Hunter has bit Hailey several times over the last week. One of his bites made Hailey bleed and now she has a scar on her shoulder..  We are constantly telling him not to bite her or us. Not sure if he is testing out his chompers or if he is doing it intentionally!

Are You Stuck?

Not quite sure how she got into this position, but it was so funny watching Hailey try to get out of it. Even once she sat down she couldn't figure out how to get her leg out from behind her! Eventually she got upset and started crying so I helped.. but it was pretty entertaining.

Hailey's Walking ...

... behind a toy car, but the fact that she is really getting it is making us think she will be walking on her own by their birthday! I'm so proud of her and how great her balance is! She just gets a bit afraid when she doesn't have something to hang on to and then will sit down.

Hunter on the other hand isn't quite ready to walk. He likes to stand on his tip-toes and gets distracted (which he then loses his balance and falls). But I think once he sees his sister up and walking he will catch on pretty quick!

Aquafest!

We had an awesome time at Aquafest this year! Alina came along with us and we ate hot dogs, fair fries and walked through some of the booths! Mommy was happy that Little Gym was there so I could ask questions and sign us up for a trail run. We like that they have an afternoon class and they aren't too far from us!

Alina and Michael were in charge of pushing the kiddos...

The babes loved people watching until it started dumping rain on us! We were troopers and waited it out. Thankfully the rain didn't last long and we were able to finish seeing all the booths!

After a good time we all headed back to our house and hung out! Hailey loved hanging out with Alina!

Best Friends

These two are SO funny! They love to chase each other around the house. If one of them is crawling towards something and the other one starts to tag along they just start to giggle! It is so sweet how much they love each other... until Hunter tries to climb on top of Hailey. Then things get dicey...

Oh stinky!

Let us out!!

Watch where you walk! There are dogs and babies everywhere!

Sharing

Hailey has been learning how to share lately. I will hand her a toy and ask her to give it back and she will. Ever since I taught her that she has been sharing everything!! It is so cute...

Another Way to Carry Toys...

Hunter has taught us that if you don't have enough hands for your toys, you can always put one in your mouth!

A Long Drive & Family Time

We drove up to see papa on Saturday and Uncle Alex came too! The cabin looks awesome now that he is all settled in and the babies enjoyed making themselves at home! The drive is pretty long, but both of the babies were very good there and home... it was just towards the end of both trips that they started to get restless.

It was almost impossible to get a picture of the kids that wasn't blurry! They were moving around, crawling and climbing like crazy!

Date Night

We had an awesome date night hanging with James and Sammi! We all headed to the casino and had a delicious sushi dinner and then hung out by the fire pit outside. We even won a little money! WHOO HOO!

Happy 3rd Anniversary!

It's kind of crazy we have already been married for 3 years. We spent our anniversary going to Kerry Park where we had our wedding photos taken (and have gone every year since). The park was packed, but we were able to enjoy the nice view before a really nice dinner at Canlis. Dinner was amazing and the view was breathtaking! They even put a fancy note on our dessert! What an amazing night with my husband!

Seattle Fun

Sunday we prayed to have a better day with the kids. It was supposed to be really hot so we headed down to Alki early in the morning to get in some good exercise and family time! We ended up walking about 4 miles and had fun in the grass crawling and taking time to eat a snack!

And then it was time to walk back to the car... oh Hunter.

After our fun walk both Hailey and Hunter took a nap while we drove into downtown to meet Auntie Sammi and James for lunch. Afterwards we headed to their house just a few blocks from Seattle Center.

The kids had a great time exploring...

.. and LOVED their dog Scooby! He was so sweet and gentle with the kiddos. Every time he'd walk past Hailey she would just laugh!

So glad I got to hang out with my best friend for a bit!

We put James on baby duty!
