Hailey + Hunter Are 8 (+) Months

All I can say is that I'm just happy that I've got this post up before they turn 9 months! Hailey and Hunter are both so active now so it makes it hard to stop and blog! Whoopsie! Both are still sleeping through the night and are ready for bed by 5/5:30pm every night. It leaves the night open for Michael and I to work and catch up on house chores. So, let me try to remember what the kiddos were doing a few weeks ago... it's amazing how much changes in a month!

Hailey

Personality: Hailey is still so cautious and can be very independent. She will sit still and watch an entire movie while ooh'ing and ahh'ing to it. She has the sweetest laugh, but you really have to work for it. Raspberries on her tummy usually work though! She is not a morning person... in fact, when you go to wake her up to get her ready, she rubs her little eyes and keeps them closed until she has finished her bottle.

Food: She still prefers sweeter fruits over vegetables. She isn't quite ready for food that she has to chew.

Words: She doesn't quite say words yet. She will however make her little squeals to make sure Mommy and Daddy are listening! She really picks up on emotions and again is very visible during movies. She will laugh at funny parts and get very excited during action scenes and squeak along to the mood.

Teeth: Hailey hasn't gotten any new teeth yet... as of 8 months! Just the two bottom poking through which she loves to smile with!

Favorite Toys: Hailey enjoys her play bracelets and her toy computer. She really has fun with her mini mouse toy car too! She will open the lid to the seat and close it as if she's saying- nope, leave that stuff in there mom!!

Hunter

Personality: Hunter is a thumper! That at least is what we call him. He is so much fun to watch in jumpers and with toys because he really goes nuts with them! Much like  his dad, he is a LADIES MAN! He will smile and bat his thick eye lashes as they walk by and will give a little grin. I'm in trouble! He will just laugh and laugh if you tickle him or blow raspberries on his tummy. You can't help but laugh along with him!

Food: Hunter pretty much eats everything. There are very few foods this kid won't eat! He will really let you know when he is done though especially with his bottle which he will throw down to the ground when he is finished! He is a bit better with some smaller pieces of solid food. He even has been reaching for his Mommy and Daddy's plates when he sees something he wants!

Words: Dada is a favorite along with Baba. He will string along several of these baby babble words to make them sound like sentences. He definitely knows what Dada means though! 

Teeth: Hunter has 6 teeth- two of the bottom and four at the top! He just decided to get all of his teeth in one shot! 

Favorite Toys: Hunter loves his jump jump (activity center). He thinks it is the coolest thing and goes nuts in it! He will bounce happily for a good amount of time.. until he gets hungry that is!

These two really adore one another and have such a cute relationship already! Although, they are really not good at sharing... but that's to be expected!
