Still Trying to Crawl
The kiddos still haven't mastered moving forward yet, but they have figured out how to go backwards! We put them on their bellies for a good amount of time each day and we can really see the progress... that is if Hunter lets us put him down. He has figure out how to lock his knees so we can't have him sit on the ground. He just wants to walk already!
Front Yard Make-over
We decided on a new tree for our front yard and did a little clean up of our lilies and bushes. I really want some more privacy in the front room, but still didn't want to settle on a tree I didn't want. We were able to find a young Japanese Maple that looks great there and will be perfect once it gets slightly bigger. We added in some lights and flower pots as well.
Sippy Cups and Food Smashers
These two are so cute in their highchairs drinking from sippy cups (at least attempting), eating puffs and eating from their food smashers (banana inside this time!)..
Happy Birthday Michael!
What fun we had celebrating Michael's 33rd Birthday! Him and I had a great date night to celebrate. We went to see a movie, went to a Murder Mystery Dinner and got the night off from being parents (thank you grandparents!).
We had another awesome celebration at a yummy Mexican Restaurant on Sunday (thanks to Alicia for the photos!). The kiddos were SUPER fussy (and really had been all weekend). We couldn't even set them down without a huge MELTDOWN. Either a growth spurt, ears or teeth... not quite sure but we are ready for the fussiness to end.. at least for a small break. They were happy eating beans though and Michael even had to wear the Birthday Hat!!
On Sunday night, mommy made him his favorite dinner, Seafood Bouillon which turned out perfect!
And had a little cake too..
I love you hunny, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :)

Time to Organize!
So excited for my dad (papa)!! He has bought a cabin in the woods like he has wanted ever since I could remember... but that meant going through stuff that my sister and I had at his house. It was a lot of fun going through old memories and seeing things I had long since forgotten about! Of course Michael was there to keep us girls on track and tell us when we needed to stop chatting.. thanks hunny! We got a lot done and we are so excited to spend time at his new place!
The best part is we found a ton of old photos like this one.... Oh, the hair! :)
Fun in the Sun
The weather has been so nice, so we decided to head down to the park on the lake by our house with the babies. We had a good time playing in the grass with them and even going to check out the big kid play area. So glad this little gem is so close to us... I'm sure we will be spending a lot of time here in the future!
Colds Again?!
Well, not sure really what Hunter had, but he had a very high fever for about 3 days and was miserable. He really didn't want to be put down and was super fussy. We took him into the walk-in, but they couldn't do anything for us. Michael had to leave work early to take care of the little man, but he is finally back to his normal self!
It's Official!
It was finally communicated to my team at work that I am their new manager! I now have 8 direct reports and I'm so excited that I've hit this goal for myself! Now, what to concur next?
My team took me out to celebrate my new position at Twisted Lime while Michael stayed home with his mom to watch the kiddos! What a great time hanging with everyone and having a little adult time. ;)

Happy Mother's Day!
Happy Mother's Day to all you beautiful mothers!
I had such an amazing 1st Mother's Day!
Michael really made me feel so special by cooking me a yummy dinner (filet and lobster tail) and I got some really special gifts from my family. I got adorable little angel feet that my babies made me at daycare... Gorgeous flowers and chocolates waiting on the doorstep for me after a family outing and a vanity I've wanted for quite a while.... thank you hunny and babies for making me feel so special!! I love and adore you all!
Picture Time at Flower World
Over Mother's Day weekend we had photos with Sarah Sweetman at Flower World. We had never been there before so we wandered around a bit before she got there. Let's just say we're never buying plants/flowers/trees from Home Depot ever again! This place was AWESOME! They had some really cute places that we took pictures at and even live animals on the grounds. I can't wait to get the photos back from her in a few weeks.
Costco Run
Mommy was brave and volunteered to take the kids to Costco... alone. 2 against 1. Odds seemed ok.. until MELTDOWNS happened.. in the middle of Costco. To make matters worse, everyone kept asking me 'are they twins?'. It never fails, just when you think you can get in and out without something going sideways, you turn out to be horribly wrong. I couldn't go one aisle without someone telling me their sisters friends brothers girlfriend is a twin and how hard it must be. You think? I have you, Mrs. Stranger, chatting me up while you can see I'm out numbered and have 2 screaming kids. Ugh. Ok, that's my vent. But on the bright side, I did capture a moment that was probably the sweetest thing I've seen ever... Hunter ADORES his sister!! He really was keeping an eye out for his girls while Daddy was busy working hard!
Shopping at the Outlets and Lunch
Mommy got spoiled and was approved to buy some new clothes! So, we made a day of going up to the outlet mall and grabbing some lunch afterwards. The kids were so good and had a fun time sitting outside soaking up the sun!
The Ugly Ducking and Auntie Alicia's Birthday!
We had a good time at The Ugly Ducking Play in Kirkland a few weekends ago! We met up with Auntie Alicia (it was her Birthday!!) and the cousins. Hailey loved sitting on Daddy's lap and watching the excitement, but Hunter... well he decided to jump while Mommy held him in the seat. After a while he wanted to really tell everyone how he felt by starting up with his baby babble and next thing you know him and mommy were in the lobby. There, he decided to throw up all over himself and me and take a #2 when the diaper bag was back in the theater with Michael! Let's just say I was happy when it was over. Afterwards we headed to Red Robin and had a yummy lunch and got to embarrass Auntie Alicia with singers at the table!
Hunter decided it was a good day to sport his new hat.... ok , ok, it was my fault. I thought it'd be a good idea to do his hair and well, that didn't end up how I expected so it was a hat day! Hailey even had some fun trying it on!
