2 Month Check-Up

Hailey and Hunter had their 2 month check-up and they shocked us both! Michael picked up both babies from daycare and I met all 3 of them at the doctors office straight from work. I was confused because I looked into Hunter's car seat and saw him in a pink onsie! Turns out he didn't have extra clothes at daycare and had to borrow one of his sister's onsies. That sure threw mommy for a loop!

Both babies now weigh over 11lbs and Hunter is now bigger than his sister (weight & height)! They each had to have 2 shots and an oral vaccine. When they each got the oral vaccine, they both were wondering what was going into their mouth because it didn't taste like formula! Hunter was even giving the nurse googly eyes! Those googly eyes quickly shifted to tears once the shots were done. Both babies screamed and had to be calmed down for about 10 minutes in the doctors office after the appointment. Hunter was extra fussy that night and Hailey slept after all the excitement. Really tugs at your heart when they cry so hard so we are glad to have that appointment over with! Below are their measurements and what percentile they are in (boys percentile and girls percentile).

Hunter

11lbs 2.5 ounces=19th percentile

23 inches long= 44th percentile

38.7cm head circumference=31st percentile

Hailey

11lbs 1.5 ounces= 40th percentile

22.5 inches long = 47th percentile

38.9cm head circumference= 67th percentile
