Hailey and Hunter's Preschool Christmas Program

I'm so proud of the kids! It is really hard getting up in front of strangers to sing, but Hailey stayed on stage the entire time! Hunter got scared and ended up getting off before the 1st song and ended up sitting with dad. Hailey sang and did her hand movements to the first song but then afterwards it's like reality sank in and she started fidgeting and wouldn't sing. Either way, super cute and so glad they both were a part of it this year.

Before the program we took a few photos in front of our tree while we visited with Grandma and Grandpa.

You can see Hunter saying... Hmm, where's my mom and dad?

They got big smiles on their face after the program when they saw their cousins!

Up on the Housetop:

Snowflake Lane

We tried to beat the crowds at Snowflake Lane thinking a Wednesday night wouldn't be too busy. We were wrong! It turned out being ok because we hung out by the street well in advance to get a good spot. Hailey was smiling the entire time, but Hunter was pretty tired by the end of it.

Sleepover!

Mommy and Daddy are SO grateful for sleepovers at Grandma and Grandpas house! We used Saturday night to finish Christmas shopping, wrap presents, and stay in to watch a movie. We even slept in until 8:30!!

Two sleepy kids on the way over.. and two LAZY dogs!!

Meanwhile.. :)

Warm Beach

So glad we made it to Warm Beach before all the rain came in and before the older kids get out of school. We got there right when they opened and ended up in the front of the line for everything! The kids had a blast but we all had some cold hands and faces by the time we got to the truck!!

Hunter got to ride the biggest horse - Twilight

Hailey rode Jolly

They had fried Oreos.. we all devoured them!! So good!!

I didn't remember the light maze last year, but that was a good way to run off the oreos!

The talking tree was really fun...

The train ride was the highlight for the kids. They love train rides!!

Mommy's favorite set of lights is always the tree with the lights hanging down..

"Mom, look I'm this big! I'm almost as big as the penguin!"

Hunter enjoyed sitting on Santa's lap. He changed his mind.. what he wants is a candy cane for Christmas. Good thing Santa had a pile of them!

Hailey wasn't as thrilled, but still got up on his lap and took a photo.

The kids are at such a fun, but difficult age. They can express themselves more and things like this we can do all the activities. However, we had to have a few conversations about listening.. we are struggling still with not running off without Mom and Dad and not being picked up and carried everywhere.
