Things I Never Thought I'd Have to Say..

"Don't eat that, is that what I think it is?!", "Don't put your finger there", "Don't lick that", "You want ketchup on what?", and the newest one, "Stickers don't go there".... I think they learned their lesson on that one when it was time to take them all off.

Random Weekend Fun

Alexis, Mackenzie and Natalie were doing a car wash for their cheerleading camp, so we figured it was a good excuse to go see their cousins for a few minutes and get mommy's dirty car cleaned!

Afterwards we braved Costco, but then went home to play with bubbles and the water slide again!

We pulled out the blow up mattresses for some movie fun!

Mommy took some time out on Sunday to do some food prep- it is so much easier when you have everything made for the week and healthy snacks ready to go. My personal favorite is overnight oats that I loaded a bunch of blueberries into! I can just grab it out of the fridge in between conference calls and heat it up really fast for a healthy & filling breakfast for Michael and I!!

We used Sunday to go get Hunter all of his gear for T-ball and Hailey's dance outfits! I must say, the little baseball pants his size are the cutest thing I've ever seen. He is going to be such a stud!

Hunter kept saying, "I want to play baseball like my daddy!"

We found awesome spinners at the sports store that we had to check out! The kids  had a fun time chasing the little rockets after helping dad put them up in the air with the slingshot!

And what is a weekend without a few snuggles from our other 'children'?!

We had fun playing with baby dolls and toys... so glad to have a fun low key weekend!

More Blueberries, Please!

Surprisingly we went through all the berries from our first round of picking, so we headed back out to get more! This time, we went early to beat the crowds and to dodge hot weather. The kids did a really good job and we picked 7lbs of blueberries!

This Week at Pre-School

The kids have been doing so great at school! They rarely have potty accidents anymore and they both come home telling us all about their days! Growing up so fast..

At achool, Miss Amy does Hailey's hair almost every day. This is not my choice mind you... she just won't let anyone but her do her hair. 

Hailey also has decided she no longer naps. So, while her friends are all sleeping, she is up reading and getting one-on-one teach time. 

On Friday they got to have a movie day and watch Veggie Tales! Hunter is clearly into it!

Family Date Night

It's been a while since we've gone out to have a family date night so we decided on Red Robin and to try out the new indoor play area at the Alderwood Mall. The kids had a BLAST climbing around and going down the slides.

More Water Time

We gave in and bought the kids a water slide! It's been so hot out that this is the easiest way to cool off without being at a crowded pool or lake! The kids had a blast going down the slide about 100 times each... mom and dad also had some fun! :)
