Blue Friday!!

That's right, our companies have blue and green running through their veins! Michael's team and my team both took 12th man photos today to amp up for the game on Sunday! GO HAWKS!

What's on Your Head?

As we were getting ready to leave the house, Michael walks out of the bathroom and yells at me, "Come see this...". I walk into the bedroom and this is what I see... What a silly girl! She put her blanket on her head and was waving around the bag of wipes! It's amazing now that they are grasping everything how quickly you can turn around and everything has moved!

Hunter was wondering what his silly sister was doing too! 

Happy birthday Alexis and Mackenzie

We had a good time celebrating Lexie and Kenzie's birthday on Wednesday at Red Robin! We got there a few minutes early and got to visit with Aunt Donna who is up from CA before everyone else arrived. Hailey was a mommy's girl most of the night and Lexie was the only other person who could hold her! Lexie loves holding her (and Hailey loves the attention and to study both her and Kenzie's faces)!  Hunter hung out with his Daddy and ended up falling asleep in his arms. It was so cute how when Michael when to move him and put him in different directions he'd just nod right back off. So glad we made it to the birthday celebration!

Visit From Papa!

We got to see my dad right before he left for the SuperBowl to cheer on the Hawks! The babies were a bit crabby, but it was fun seeing my dad and my Uncle Dave came too! Hailey couldn't even keep her eyes open and was cozy on her daddy. It was a nice start to a busy week.

Lunch with the Perkins

We had a lot of fun yesterday meeting Alicia, Chris, Grandma and the girls for lunch! Lexie and Kenzie were so sweet to the babies and really loved pinching their cheeks and rattling their toys to keep them happy. Natalie was busy with Michael on her iPad showing him everything she could do on it!
Thankfully Alicia was good (as always) with photos! She got some cute ones of the girls playing with Hunter and Hailey!

Trapped in a Room With a Zombie

Mommy had so much fun the other day with her work group at our team event! I set up a fun experience for us called 'Trapped in a Room with a Zombie' where you have to put together clues as a team and try to escape. There's a zombie attached too the wall with chains and every 5 mins the chains loosen. It was really exciting and the hour in the room flew by! We didn't make it out alive, but we were able to work together and get really close! At the end they passed out awards and mommy got 'Most Persistent' and the 'Leadership' awards! This was too much fun!!

CPR with SNOMOMS

Last night we attended our first snomoms meeting where they had a retired firefighter perform a CPR course for adults and infants. We got a lot of really good information and the babies were good for the most part. Both Hailey and Hunter threw up on the floor and all over daddy, but we made it out alive. Everyone commented how adorable they were and they loved the attention! The only downside to the meetings is that they are so late. We didn't get home until close to 10 and we had some tired crabby babies. The plus side is that they slept in this morning so we had an easier time getting ready for work. Still, the 430am alarm was not fun, but we are now both certified!!

Their cute morning faces sure make it hard to go to work everyday! Just hope we are not completely thrown off schedule for tonight.

Sehawks!

We cheered our Seahawks onto the Superbowl today with our friends Alicia and Brad. Their two girls loved playing with Hailey and Hunter. Gwen, their youngest, kept giving Hunter kisses and would rock him in his bouncer! He is such a ladies man!
The game was definitely a nail biter, but we had faith until the very end! What a fun day!

Lily The Baby Guard

Lily is so funny in the truck with the babies. She likes to sit between them in the backseat and check on every noise they make. Hunter was coughing and she poked her little nose in to see if he was ok. So cute!! We love the interactions that the dogs have with the babies even if it's a bit more work now and then. Especially when we finally get two babies to sleep and something triggers both dogs to bark... Keeps things interesting!!

We Got Our Blog Book!

We bought a printed book of our blog from the last year and just got it in the mail! It was really fun to look back over the last year and how much our lives changed.. pregnancy and birth of our twins, we bought a house and sold the condo, we both got new jobs... No wonder it's all a blur! Definitely was a reminder of one of the reasons I love the blog!!

Sammi and Sarah Day!

Last week I got to spend some much needed time with my best friend! After a long week at work, it was nice to unwind and catch up! We even met Michael for a yummy sushi lunch and then her and I went wine tasting in woodinville.

That's Better!

I've been neglecting my hair and finally went to get it done! Michael was so sweet to suggest it.. maybe it was worse than I thought.. but I was so impressed with the gal who did my hair! She took her time and got the colors just right..and the best part? It's only 5 minutes up the road!
Once I got home we played with the babies and finished painting the guest bathroom (only one more bathroom to paint.. we got the powder room done last weekend). What a great way to start off the weekend.

Family Date Night

We have been trying to get out at least once over the weekend for a family date night... no errands, just something we want to do. The weekdays are so busy and we wish we had more time with our little angels, but with us both working full time, school for mommy, work dinners and late meetings for daddy and early bedtime for the babies, there just isn't enough time to feel like we've gotten enough quality time. So we went out for some yummy burgers at Blazing Onion and to walk around Fred Meyer. Hailey got a fun new princess wand and Hunter and daddy got more days for the nerf gun. It's so much fun watches these two grow and take in the world around them!

Mommy's work dressed up and showed our 12th Man Spirit again this year! So much fun seeing everyone in their blue and green! 

Another Doctor's Appointment

Well, another doctors appointment for the babies. Both are sick again with whatever is going around daycare. Hunter is much more congested than Hailey, but no fluid in the lungs so that’s good. He has to sleep inclined until all the mucus is gone, so back to the bassinet for little man.. just when he was getting used to his crib! URGH.. Hopefully it doesn't turn into a habit. 

Also keeping an eye on Hailey for ear infection. The doctor said that spitting up more than normal, grabbing her ear (which I saw her do the other day) and sleeping more are all signs of that, but also of teething so if she develops a fever have her re-checked. Really hoping she doesn't take after her daddy who had ear problems when he was a baby. 

All in all it was a successful appointment! Daddy couldn't make it because of a work meeting so Mommy braved the doctors office on her own.. glad to be home now with the little nuggets!! Hailey is sleeping and Hunter is helping mommy post.
