What a Big Boy!

Hunter took a short nap in his crib in his room the other day! I'm so glad Michael put up the cameras so we can watch the babies. I of course jump at every little sound, so I need to get better at letting them soothe themselves.
Hailey on the other hand knows when you set her in her crib (which is currently in our room). She must think our bed is hers... get in line baby girl! The animals think that too!

Special Time With Daddy

Every morning after I leave for work, Michael takes the babies on their morning drive. They love the white noise of the truck and it allows daddy to not have to deal with two screaming babies on his own before he drops them off at daycare. He knows how much I miss them in the mornings so I love it when I get sweet pics!!

Bumbo

So glad that Grandma held onto the Bumbo and brought it over the other night! Hailey seemed to really like being able to sit up and look around. Hunter wasn't too happy... Daddy was guessing because it was PINK!

BOO

We got boo'd! What a fun new tradition for us to be included in with our neighbors! The other night both dogs started barking at the top of the stairs looking down at the front door and we couldn't figure out what for. When I went to investigate, I saw we had a special package at the door.

The point of the game is to BOO 2 more people, so we ran out, got some treats and even figured out a funny trick to do to Alicia! Normally you are supposed to BOO 2 neighbors, but we've been hanging onto a drawing of Michael's sister for some time now (she tried to get rid of it about 2 years ago, so we said we'd take the frame... while all along plotting how to have it "show back up" unexpectedly)! It was the perfect time to make our move. While they were at church on Sunday, we dropped by to BOO them! We didn't include any 'tricks' to the neighbors BOO- just treats. :)

Time to Decorate for Fall!

Fall is my absolute favorite season so we have gotten the house all ready for the upcoming holidays with little touches of pumpkins and fall leaves! Bring on the trick-or-treaters!

Zoo Trip #2

We are really enjoying our zoo pass! We went again a few weeks ago and got to see the animals with pumpkins! We were shocked how we got to see all different animals than we did the time we went prior. The giraffes were fighting each other with their necks and the penguins came right up to the glass to say hi! Hailey was awake most of the time and really enjoyed looking at the monkeys. It is starting to get pretty chilly though outside so this might be the last zoo trip until spring.

Poppin' Bottles

These kids eat like crazy!! We have been going through bottles like they are going out of style at night! Normally we will wake up 2 times per baby at night, but that is NOT the case lately... let's hope this growth spurt is almost over so we can at least have a few nights of "normal" sleep... if you can call it that!

1-Legged Quack Quack

We woke up in the other morning and Quack Quack was missing a leg!! It's yet to be found. I suspect foul play by one of the animals...

Whatcha Doin?

Hunter and Hailey both love to see what we are up to. The other day I caught Hailey watching Netflix with daddy on his phone!

The babies even like to help mommy in the kitchen. I just set them in their little bouncers and put them on the counter so they can see what I'm up to!

Bye-Bye Newborn Clothes

Baby clothes sure do a good job to remind you how fast time goes and how much these little ones have grown! We are now onto 3-month onsies and sleepers.

As you can see, Hunter can't even stretch his legs out... little miss Hailey is already in a 3 month onesie here. I remember when Hunters sleeper he's in did not fit him because it was too big!

5 Minutes...

Hunter is so funny!! When he is eating and needs a break or is upset about something, he holds up his little hands as if to say he needs 5 minutes before he can finish eating or before he will calm down! We joke every time he puts up his fingers and he even switches it up between 5, 4 and 1 finger. :)

Tummy Time for All!

We had the best tummy time the other night now that the babies can see further and have started to reach for things. Both babies were so interested in the lights on the top of the toy and spent a good amount of time being entertained! As soon as we had gotten the babies off the play mat, Paco decided it was his turn! Oh, Paco...

Back to Work for Mommy!

I have the BEST team! While I was on leave my manager asked if I wanted a window cubicle to which of course I agreed! I had come into work on my first day expecting to have to move all my stuff, but to my surprise the girls all set up everything and even decorated! My window might face towards the wall of the other building, but hey, at least it's natural light! Glad to be back at work, but sure miss the babies!!

Daily Report Sheets From Daycare

The first week of daycare was a success! The babies are currently going to daycare on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The entire staff just adore them both and there are constantly various ladies in and out of the infant room to take turns to hold them. The daycare even fills out a sheet that shows when and how much they sleep and eat and leave us little notes on how well they did that day. We are really loving the daycare so far.. the only downside is that they are required to change diapers every hour! So we are going through 20 diapers a day just at daycare! That doesn't count all the times we change them at home. Time to buy stock in Pampers.
