January was a fun & busy month. We had a lot of great times with friends and family.
We brought in the new year with our good friends Alina & Adam as well as their two daughters. The kids all loved watching the new years countdown on Netflix which allowed us parents to get to bed at a decent hour.
The kids loved that their dad's were outside lighting off fireworks!!
Of course the kids LOVE getting snuggles from the dogs, but no room for mom and dad. Typical!
Silly Hailey
We had a fun trip to the swimming pool where Hunter showed off his amazing talent in the water. He was jumping off the edge and swimming back to the side of the pool on his own (with a safety vest on). It was amazing how fearless he was.
Good naps were had that day!
The kids new thing is shoulder rides!
Look at my boys!!
We had a fun trip to the trampoline park
The kids love heading to grandma and grandpa's for sleepovers.
Little miss fashionista has to pack her own bag..
We got to the zoo on one of the nicer days
The kids loved getting outside to ride their bikes. There is a small hill on the next street over that they love to go down.
Costco trips in the rain.. the only way to get out of there quickly is to race to the truck!
The kids have also claimed our bath as their new bath. Apparently the one in their bathroom is for babies.
Mommy, Hailey, and Grandma went to go get our toes and nails done.
Hailey was so funny when the guy rubbed lotion on her arms she goes- AHHHHH
We had fun at the indoor play area in Bothell. The kids are old enough now for the trampolines there so we ran around the entire place.. everyone was tired when we left.
Mommy had a work trip to Dallas, TX. It was a LONG week away from my family, but I was able to complete my presentations (a total of 16 times over the 3 days) and had a fair amount of time with my leadership team to discuss my future ambitions.
Mommy was shocked at the awards dinner. I was presented an award in front of all the imaging and pcms project managers for the Game Changer / Leadership Award for 2017!
There was also some fun to be had! I got to spend some quality time with the people I work with every day, but never get to see.
Although the time spent was worth it, Mommy was sure glad to get home after the long week.
We took the kids to Doorway to Magic (a Disney event) which turned out being really awesome
This photo of Hailey is so funny.. worth zooming into her face!!
We also celebrated our cousins bdays! We can't believe Lexie and Kenzie are 8 and Natalie is 5. Time flies.
Phew, and if that were not enough Mommy has also had a bunch of appointments at the dentist to get Invisiline. Super excited to straighten out my smile a little and have less headaches / jaw aches due to grinding my teeth at night. Apparently better alignment will help with that!
Onto a new month of adventures!
